We’ve been showing the old Muffin, but no bites yet. I think we need to make some more progress on her interior before someone will bite. It’s a funny thing – her bones are awesome, and really the hardest parts of the refit are done, but mostly people want to see the furniture – not the anchor handling gear, not the engine, not the tankage, not the new wiring panel or manual bilge pumps… everyone dives right down the hatch and starts asking questions about layout.

We’re getting kind of nervous about the boat in Florida – they are charging us for storage by the day at our friend Nate’s yard, and we haven’t been able to get in touch with him to find out if we can negotiate something better. It still feels like we’re hemorrhaging money – which we CANNOT DO with the baby on the way. Oh please just let this thing be over with – we’ve got more important things to concentrate on right now.
